Women and Survivor Support
As mentioned in my floor speech, I have set up a dedicated hotline for potential survivors to come forward in a safe and confidential space. Your voice matters, and your courage could help bring justice and protect others.
If you are a woman who has visited the home of Eric Bowman on Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina; if you have visited properties owned by Patrick Bryant and Brian Musgrave on Isle of Palms, South Carolina; if you are a female employee of Patrick Bryant; if you are the wife of a male employee who works for him at any of his companies; if you are an underage girl anywhere near Patrick Bryant; if you have been in proximity to Patrick Bryant or Eric Bowman, their cell phones, or any recording device or camera; or if you believe you may have been drugged, incapacitated, raped, filmed, or photographed without your knowledge, permission, or consent by one or more of these men, we have set up a confidential hotline at 843.212.7048. You can call or text, and with your permission, we will take your information to provide to SLED or local law enforcement.
You are not alone. When I see a problem, I will do anything I can to fix it.
There are also other community resources available to provide support and assistance to survivor of sexual assault:
Community Resources for Children and Families of Abuse:
- Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center
- Dee Norton Children Advocacy Center Community Resources for Sexual Assault
- Hopeful Horizons
