Jobs & Economy

A strong job market is the cornerstone of an unstoppable America. We get it, and that is why our votes will always put American workers and families first. From our many ports, our local small businesses, and urban development, we will defend your jobs and bring more to the Lowcountry. But jobs are not the only thing that shape our economy.
The current Congress in Washington has failed to end wasteful spending. The national debt is $34,000,000,000,000. Inflation is up. Cost of living is up. The burden of our nation's crippling debt is now being felt by families all across South Carolina. But establishment Republicans and Democrats have done nothing to prevent this. The unchecked spending in the nation's capital has spiraled out of control and we must act now and balance our budget. That is exactly what we will do in Congress.
We will not stand idly by as the Biden administration worsens the economic challenges facing hardworking American families. We will champion policies that lower taxes, alleviate the high cost of living, and provide meaningful change to American families. In our office, the Lowcountry will always come first, as we strive to uphold the values and principles that make our nation great.
