National Parks and Recreation Week
This week is National Parks and Recreation Week and we want to highlight the natural treasures of South Carolina's Lowcountry. Our district is home to remarkable parks and recreational areas, from the historic Charles Pinckney National Historic Site to the pristine ACE Basin National Wildlife Refuge. This week, we encourage all of our constituents to explore these local gems and appreciate the outdoor resources that make our Lowcountry unique. Whether you're hiking in Francis Marion National Forest or enjoying the beaches of Hunting Island State Park, remember that preserving these spaces for future generations is a priority for our office.
