We Met a Former Teacher at Dorchester STEM Event

It was a sweet surprise bumping into a former teacher from Stratford High School, Miss Walker, at the Economic Development Day event in Dorchester. We participated in an Economic Development panel hosted by the TriCounty STEMersion Institute in Dorchester. The panel focused on the crucial role of educators in workforce development and economic growth. Discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration between schools, local industries, and economic development agencies to create pathways for students transitioning from education to employment. Our team emphasized the need for increased funding for vocational training programs and internship opportunities to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world job requirements.
