Congresswoman Nancy Mace Promotes Sydney Long To Communications Director

(Charleston, S.C., April 21st, 2025) — Congresswoman Nancy Mace announced the promotion of Sydney Long to Communications Director.

A College of Charleston alumna, Long has deep roots in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. She served as the Congressional office’s Digital Director and local Press Secretary, where she played a key role in shaping the Congresswoman’s communications strategy.

“Sydney knows this district and cares deeply about putting the Lowcountry first,” said Congresswoman Mace. “And did I mention, she’s now the youngest communications director on Capitol Hill? That’s no small feat.”
