FAKE NEWS ALERT: Fraudulent Townhall Flyer Circulating in the Lowcountry

March 19, 2025

(Charleston, SC, March 18th 2025)  – A deceptive flyer is circulating in the Lowcountry, advertising a Townhall event featuring Congresswoman Nancy Mace. The misleading invitation, which was not authorized or coordinated with our office, is being driven by the Lowcountry Accountability Alliance—a group of left-wing extremists and paid agitators with an agenda.

This event is FAKE NEWS.

“I WILL NOT be attending,” said Congresswoman Mace. “We’re staying away because it’s not safe, and we refuse to be bullied by individuals who are threatening me, my employees, my constituents and my family.”

Since this fraudulent flyer began circulating, concerned constituents have contacted our office, fearing for their own safety at real, future Townhalls hosted by Congresswoman Mace.

We take these concerns seriously. We adhere to strict security protocols and only attend events organized by our office—ensuring a safe and productive environment for all attendees.

This is part of a larger trend of left-wing extremists wreaking havoc at townhalls across the country. Radical activists have increasingly shown up at other members’ events, causing disruptions, intimidating attendees, and turning community discussions into political circus acts.

Congresswoman Mace refuses to be a pawn in their chaos-driven agenda.

Congresswoman Mace will continue to hold legitimate, official Townhalls as she does every Congress where constituents can engage in real discussions—free from the disruption and intimidation tactics of radical agitators.

Any official event information will always come directly from our office. Constituents should disregard any invitations from outside groups attempting to mislead the public and sow fear in our communities.
