Mace In Lockstep With President Trump To Keep Terrorists Out Of The U.S.

Mace Reintroduces Bill to Block Hamas Sympathizers From Entering U.S. or Receiving Immigration Benefits

(Washington, D.C., July 8th, 2025) — Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-1) reintroduced the No Amnesty for Hamas Sympathizers Act, cutting off all immigration benefits and legal protections for individuals from Palestinian-controlled areas or those holding Palestinian Authority travel documents.

The urgency behind this legislation has only grown following the horrific antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado. This bill is a crucial step towards keeping terrorist organizations like Hamas from entering our country.

“We won’t sit back while Jewish Americans are getting attacked in our own country and wait for the next tragedy," said Congresswoman Mace. “This should never happen in America. This bill slams the door shut and keeps terrorist sympathizers and antisemitic extremists out.”

The bill has resonated especially strongly in the Lowcountry and across the American Jewish community, where fears about rising antisemitism and foreign extremist threats continue to grow.

Rabbi Yossi Refson, Center for Jewish Life – Chabad of Charleston:

“Hamas is not a political movement. It is a ruthless terrorist organization dedicated to murder and destruction. There must be no refuge in the United States for those who sympathize with or promote such evil,” said Refson. “Our Jewish community, along with so many friends and neighbors across Charleston and the Lowcountry, stand in full support of this courageous effort and are deeply appreciative of Congresswoman Mace’s steadfast defense of Israel, the Middle East’s only democracy, and her principled stand against the rising tide of antisemitism, offering moral clarity in a time of deep moral confusion."

Larry Klayman, attorney and founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, strongly backed the bill:

"I am outraged that radical Palestinians, who are sympathetic to or directly tied to Hamas and other terrorist groups, were welcomed into the United States by Joe Biden and his minions. Now they are protected by the Democrat Party and the left," said Klayman. “Congresswoman Mace's ‘No Amnesty for Hamas Sympathizers Act’ will be a vital weapon against antisemitism and, by extension, hate and violence against Christians. The bottom line is this: either strong action is taken or there will be more murders against innocent Jews and Christians.”

Zoe Owen, a conservative activist recently spotlighted for defending Jewish Americans against online antisemitism, praised the bill:

“I’m so glad that Congresswoman Nancy Mace is stepping in to work on legislation for keeping people safe from the evils of Hamas as well as the deadly deception caused by the “free Palestine” propaganda,” said Owen. “We must speak up against the violence of the “free Palestine” movement that is deceiving young and vulnerable people into a mantra that began a war of murder and hate on October 7th and brainwashes others in even civilized countries such as the USA to also hate- as well as burn people alive!”

Ann Wolf, Constituent and Stakeholder in South Carolina Jewish community:

“I am not a religious Jew, but I am proud to be a Jew living in this amazing country.  I have never been afraid of being an American Jew.  That has changed with the insane demonstrations against Jews on our most prestigious campuses,” said Ann Wolf. “Hopefully, the bill will help stop those who hate Jews and support a terrorist organization from entering our country.  It's long overdue.  I am a supporter of this legislation.”

Key Provisions of the Bill:

  • Nullifies Biden’s Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) Order: Revokes Biden’s 2024 policy granting legal protections and work permits to some Palestinians.
  • Bans Temporary Protected Status (TPS): Prevents Palestinians from receiving TPS under U.S. immigration law.
  • Bars Entry and Mandates Deportation: Makes individuals from Palestinian-administered territories, or holders of Palestinian Authority documents, inadmissible and deportable.
  • Prohibits Humanitarian Parole: Blocks DHS from granting parole to these individuals.
  • Denies Asylum and Refugee Status: Makes Palestinians ineligible for asylum or refugee resettlement in the U.S.
  • Enforces Retroactive Accountability: Allows for lawful status to be rescinded if a qualifying individual commits a violent crime.
