Rep. Mace Appointed to Serve on American Economy Task Force

June 30, 2021
Washington, D.C. – This week, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-01) was appointed by Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to serve on the American Economy Task Force. This task force will develop policies to promote job creation and support workers in the Lowcountry and across the U.S.
"After a year of government-mandated shutdowns which devastated our nation's economy, Americans are ready to get back to work," Mace said. "The American Economy Task Force will empower the American worker by removing arbitrary government barriers, spurring innovation, and allowing American businesses to create millions of good jobs for them here at home. As out-of-control spending causes inflation to skyrocket and hard-working Americans face tax increases, the time couldn't be more important. With this appointment, I have the opportunity to bring South Carolina's pro-growth vantage point to the federal level to help all Americans. I thank Leader McCarthy for selecting me to help accomplish this important mission."

  • Patrick McHenry (NC-10)
  • French Hill (AR-02)
