Rep. Mace Statement on NDAA Passage

June 14, 2024

Washington, D.C. (June 14th, 2024) – Our office passed 15 amendments in this National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and upon its passage, we released the following statement:

"This year's National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) refocuses our military on its primary mission: it includes deploying the National Guard to the southwest border, fast-tracking new weapons, supporting our allies, and enhancing our nuclear and missile defense systems. By recognizing and addressing the threats from Communist China, Russia, and Iran, we are taking decisive steps to ensure our nation's security," said Rep. Nancy Mace. "This NDAA also reflects our dedication to ensuring the highest quality of life for those who serve and their families by making significant investments in their well-being: providing substantial pay increases, removing employment obstacles for military spouses, and improving military housing and childcare services.
