Rep. Nancy Mace Calls For Accountability From NATO Allies

"As our NATO allies meet today, it's important to remember that only 11 out of 31 nations met their military spending commitments in 2023. While the U.S. has poured hundreds of billions into global security, Americans are left wondering: why are we defending other nations' borders while our own remain open? It's not sustainable, and it's not fair to the American taxpayer. We need more than handshakes and photo ops from this summit - we need concrete commitments and accountability.

Freedom isn’t free, and the burden shouldn't fall disproportionately on American taxpayers' shoulders. It's time for our allies to put their money where their mouths are and demonstrate that they're as committed to our shared values as we are. The stakes are too high for anything less than full participation from every NATO member."
