Rep. Nancy Mace Introduces Bill To End Gender Ideology In Federal Government

(Washington, D.C., June 25, 2025)- Leading the charge to restore science, truth, and common sense to federal policy, Congresswoman Nancy Mace has introduced the Restoring Biological Truth in Government Act, a bill which ensures federal forms and surveys recognize only two options for biological sex: male and female.

Aligned with President Trump’s unwavering stance on gender, this legislation sets the record straight: male, female, and nothing else. 

“This isn’t complicated, it’s basic biology. There are only two genders: male and female. The Left’s mental illness will never become our new reality,” said Congresswoman Mace. “The federal government’s job is to record facts, not feelings. President Trump exposed this sick agenda, and our bill codifies his Executive Orders into law to ensure the truth can’t be erased by woke bureaucrats."

The Restoring Biological Truth in Government Act would:

• Prohibit federal agencies from asking about or collecting any data on gender identity in forms or surveys.
• Require “male” or “female” as the only acceptable responses to any federal question regarding sex or gender.
• Reject any submissions which list a response other than “male” or “female” to a required sex/gender question.
• Direct the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to issue implementation guidance to all executive agencies.

Congresswoman Mace’s bill makes it clear: the federal government will not cater to ideological fictions over biological facts.
