REP. NANCY MACE RECEIVES GUARDIAN OF SMALL BUSINESS AWARD

Rep. Mace continues to be a champion for small businesses everywhere

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01) received the Guardian of Small Business Award from the National Federation of Independent Businesses:

“Small businesses are the heart of the Lowcountry’s economy and account for almost 60% of all employment in South Carolina’s First Congressional District,” said Rep. Mace. “We will continue to fight for policies at the Federal level which allow small businesses to grow and thrive across America.”

BACKGROUND:

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, presented their most prestigious legislative recognition, the Guardian of Small Business Award, to Members of the United States House of Representatives. “The NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award is presented to Members of Congress who have proven themselves to be real champions of small business,”said NFIB President and CEO Brad Close.

ABOUT:

Congresswoman Nancy Mace grew up in the Lowcountry. She is the daughter of a retired Army General and retired school teacher. Before being sworn into Congress, Nancy earned accolades as one of the most fiscally conservative members of the South Carolina General Assembly; she’s also one of the most pro-conservation lawmakers in the state of South Carolina. Nancy is the recipient of the 2019 Taxpayer Hero Award from the South Carolina Club for Growth; she has a 100% record of voting to lower taxes. Nancy is also the recipient of the Champion Award from Palmetto Goodwill for her efforts in education and in helping those most in need receive job training; she has a 100 percent rating with Conservation Voters of South Carolina.
