REP. NANCY MACE VOTES TO REPEAL FUNDING FOR 87,000 NEW IRS AGENTS
Vote protects small businesses and Americans from being targeted by the IRS
Washington D.C. - In the first days of the 118th Congress, Rep. Nancy Mace voted to rescind funding for the 87,000 new IRS agents passed by the previous Congress. Rep. Nancy Mace releases the following statement:
“We’d rather see 87,000 new border patrol agents than 87,000 new IRS agents targeting the Venmo accounts of private citizens, small businesses and other hard working Americans,” said Rep. Mace. “Voting to repeal this funding is a necessary step to protect every South Carolinian, and is another promise kept in the first days of the new Congress.”
