S.C. Compassionate Care Alliance Endorses Rep. Mace's States Reform Act

November 16, 2021

Washington, D.C. - South Carolina Compassionate Care Alliance, an advocate for medical cannabis for South Carolina, endorsed Rep. Mace’s States Reform Act. Rep. Mace released the following statement in response to the endorsement:

“I’ve worked with Jill and her group as a state lawmaker. I know firsthand the great work she does for the people of South Carolina. As advocates for medical use, SC Compassionate Care Alliance’s mission is to treat conditions like chronic pain, chemotherapy-induce symptoms, and PTSD.” said Rep. Mace. “Receiving the SC Compassionate Care Alliance endorsement of the States Reform Act is a step in the right direction to educating Americans on the importance of medical cannabis and the effective uses that come with it.”

“I want to applaud Congresswoman Mace’s efforts in really digging in and doing her homework. I believe her hard work has resulted in a bill that addresses many of the complex issues brought on by the conflict between state and federal law regarding cannabis. That is why, on behalf of South Carolina Compassionate Care Alliance and the many patients across the great state of South Carolina who will benefit from having legal access to medical cannabis on both state and federal levels, I am happy to be here today to endorse Congresswoman Mace’s States Reform Act,”said Jill Swing.
