Once again, the House is being asked to vote on sweeping legislation which jeopardizes Americans’ Constitutional protections, negotiated by a small group of Senators, and pushed through without any input or amendments from the House. Sweeping reforms should be bicameral and bipartisan.

As a mom of two kids, the gun violence in our country is truly heartbreaking and I want to see every child safe no matter where they live or go to school. At the same time, we should not strip away certain provisions the constitution affords every law abiding citizen.

In response to the United States Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, Rep. Nancy Mace issued the following statement:

“Today’s ruling returns power back to the states and power back to Congress on policies pertaining to life, where it rightfully belongs,” said Rep. Mace. “This ruling protects federalism inherent in our Constitution and also returns this power back to the people and those they elected to represent them.”

Washington D.C. -- Rep. Mace released the following statement on her new bill to help end the baby formula crisis:

“Our nation continues to face crisis after crisis. In addition to record inflation and skyrocketing gas prices, new parents are now unable to buy formula for their babies. As a solution, I’ve introduced this bill to temporarily lift tariffs on imports of foreign baby formula and help eliminate the current shortage,“said Rep. Mace.
