Alondra Colula of Hilton Head Island High School had her piece titled  “Max and Toby” chosen as the winner of the prestigious competition.

 Washington, D.C. - Representative Nancy Mace (SC-01) along with Representatives Lou Correa (CA-46) and Jack Bergman (MI-01) recently introduced H.R. 1822, the PLUS for Veterans Act of 2023, bipartisan legislation that will safeguard Veterans from fraud, abuse, and bad actors who seek to take advantage of them when they seek VA disability benefits. The bill will also protect Veterans’ right to seek private assistance when seeking benefits if they so choose.

Bipartisan Legislation Would Enact Pilot Program to Establish Individualized Transitional Homes for Veterans

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representatives Derek Kilmer (WA-06) and Nancy Mace (SC-01) introduced the Housing America’s Veterans and Ensuring They Have Needed Services (HAVENS) Act, a bipartisan effort aimed at providing housing solutions for veterans experiencing homelessness.
