Rep. Nancy Mace: In South Carolina We Have A System That Protects The Rich And Powerful

I've called for accountability from judges, prosecutors, and attorney generals for a long time. 

I've said it before and I'll say it again: impeach corrupt, activist judges.

Now an attorney named Robert Merting in South Carolina is trying to hold me in contempt for saying so. 

He wants me thrown in jail for exercising my First Amendment right to call for the impeachment of public officials.

This is what happens when someone demands accountability in South Carolina.  There is no justice system in here - in South Carolina we have a system that protects the rich and powerful. 

A system that protects predators over their victims. So, to Mr. Merting, and anyone else watching, I'm not backing down. HOLD THE LINE.
