"The memory of those who perished on 9/11 serves as a stark reminder of why we must remain vigilant in our work to end terrorism. 23 years ago, our nation was attacked, and nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost. The pain of that day is still felt deeply by the victims' families and all of us who remember the heartbreak and heroism. Today, terrorism is running rampant across the Middle East, posing an even greater threat to global security.
