Our nation is made up of thousands of “laboratories of democracy,” where families, businesses, communities, and governments are driven to find unique ways to overcome challenges we all face. This is especially true when it comes to environmental protection.
Every state, city, and town have their own approach to balancing the economic prosperity of their communities with the desire to preserve the environment they depend on for so much of their lives.
As if they didn't cram enough of their schemes into the "infrastructure" package, now radical progressives are bringing the full-blown #GreenNewDeal back from the grave.

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength, and 2+2 equals 5. George Orwell warned us of doublespeak 72 years ago. Yet today, some of my colleagues on the left and President Biden are using this tactic in a desperate attempt to sell their disastrous "infrastructure" package. One tweet from a New York senator even claimed child care and caregiving are infrastructure.

I have worked as a waitress, became the first woman to graduate from the Citadel, started my own business, and served in elected office. At every level, there were people who viewed me as unqualified, unintelligent, and unimportant, solely because I am a woman.

For decades, Washington acted like they knew better than the American people. Politicians and unelected bureaucrats took voters’ hard-earned money and used it to crush American businesses, keep American workers from moving up, and hinder American families from living their own lives. The perspectives of those outside the Beltway bubble were cast aside and ignored by those elected to represent them.
But over the last four years, Republicans flipped the script.
