More on Oversight & Accountability
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Jan. 13, 2026) - Congresswoman Nancy Mace released explosive findings from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request exposing serious failures inside the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, including widespread case dismissals, an overwhelming reliance on plea deals, and a ballooning backlog of unresolved child sex crime cases. Furthermore, the data suggests there have been multiple years where the Attorney General’s office hasn’t had a single jury trial for child sexual predators.
The moment we moved to subpoena Ilhan Omar and her brother’s immigration records.
For years, serious questions have surrounded Omar’s immigration history and alleged marriage fraud.
Oversight exists for moments exactly like this. The American people deserve the truth. NO ONE is above the law.
Governor Tim Walz. February 10th. @GOPOversight.
Be there, or we’re coming with a subpoena.
Where did the money go? Who knew? What did you do about it, Governor?
Minnesotans who actually need help are getting robbed blind while fraudsters feast on federal dollars.
This ends NOW.
See you February 10, Governor. Don’t make us drag you there.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 12, 2026) – Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-01), member of the House Oversight Committee, issued the following statement regarding Bill and Hillary Clinton's scheduled depositions in the Committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
The amount stolen may exceed the entire GDP of Somalia. What we’re uncovering in Minnesota isn’t just waste.
It’s one of the largest fraud scandals in modern American history.
We're DONE wasting taxpayer dollars on do-nothing prosecutors. If you don’t prosecute predators, you don’t get paid.
End of story.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 9, 2026) — Representative Nancy Mace concluded the first session of the 119th Congress with major legislative achievements, ranking among the top members of the U.S. House for legislation introduced while securing major victories for South Carolina.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 8, 2026) – Yesterday, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) moved to subpoena immigration records related to Representative Ilhan Omar and her brother/husband during a House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing titled “Oversight of Fraud and Misuse of Federal Funds in Minnesota: Part I.”
The hearing examined the massive theft and misuse of taxpayer dollars connected to a Somali-linked fraud network which flourished under Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s leadership.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 8, 2026) – Today, Congresswoman Nancy Mace introduced the Preventing Prosecutors from Protecting Predators Act of 2026 to expose and penalize prosecutors who accept federal funding to protect women and children, yet refuse to prosecute violent predators.
Let this sink in: the amount of fraud we're talking about in Minnesota could exceed the entire GDP of Somalia.
This happened under Tim Walz's watch. One of the biggest fraud schemes in American history.
No wonder Democrats couldn't stop screeching in today's hearing, the fraud is on their hands and they know it.
