Press Releases
“We held a UAP hearing on Wednesday, and the Pentagon’s report last night proves what we’ve been saying for years: there’s a serious transparency problem. With 21 unexplained encounters near national security sites, it’s clear we’re not getting the full picture. From protecting whistleblowers to declassifying documents, Congress must step up and demand answers. The American people deserve the truth, and it’s time we deliver it."
The recent rise in suicides among active-duty service members is a reminder of the need for better mental health support across our military. This persistent trend reveals gaps in addressing the unique pressures our service members face. We worked for months to come up with data-driven recommendations on the Quality of Life Panel to improve the lives of men and women in active duty, and we encourage the Senate to consider adopting more of these recommendations in their version of the FY 2025 NDAA.
"This administration has given its bureaucrats the green light to make unhinged, power-drunk decisions. They’ve emboldened officials to think it’s okay to push personal agendas instead of just doing their jobs. Americans deserve better than this circus."
"Americans are seeing firsthand the cost of failed economic policies from this administration. Weekly unemployment claims are creeping up and continuing claims have reached their highest levels in three years. House Republicans are getting things back in order. We’re focused on reining in reckless spending, supporting job creators, and delivering stability for working families.”
(Charleston, S.C., November 12th, 2024) — Congresswoman Nancy Mace sent a letter to the USDA and NIH demanding a briefing after a recent escape of 43 monkeys from the Alpha Genesis facility in Yemassee, SC. The incident, which left several primates unaccounted for seven days after their escape, is only the latest in a long list of violations from this USDA and NIH-funded laboratory.
"Hamas is calling for an immediate end to the war after hearing the results of our election, but let’s be clear: Israel's right to defend itself is non-negotiable, and America must continue standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our ally. Congress has a responsibility to work together to protect Israel, and ensure peace can truly take root in the region.”
”We’re diligently gathering all relevant information to keep our constituents informed regarding the recent escape of primates from Alpha Genesis Inc. in Beaufort County.
Our office has been in direct communication with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office and is working closely with their team to monitor and assess the situation.
We are withholding any formal statements until we have a complete understanding of all the facts. Stay tuned…”

"Together, we’ll secure our border, uphold what it means to be a woman, and keep our nation strong. God bless the Lowcountry, God bless South Carolina, and God bless the United States of America! Now, let’s get back to work.”
(Washington D.C., November 4th, 2024) -- Congresswoman Nancy Mace has introduced the Rape Shield Enhancement Act of 2024 to protect victims from unfair judgment or blame in assault cases. This bill instructs the Judicial Conference to review and suggest updates to federal rules, ensuring victims' personal details, when irrelevant to the case, remain protected in court.
"Iran’s supreme leader’s promise of a ‘crushing response’ only highlights the regime’s continued pursuit of aggression in the region, its destabilizing agenda, and its unrelenting support for terrorism. We will continue to support all efforts to protect American interests and Israel’s right to defend itself.”
