Today we recognize every veteran who has served our great country.
In December 1968, my dad, then Captain Mace, Company A, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry, led his men near Dong Xoai under enemy fire. He flanked bunkers, rescued a downed helicopter crew, and took out gunners while saving lives. His actions destroyed an enemy supply complex and earned him the Distinguished Service Cross.
A soldier. A leader. A hero.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Nov. 10, 2025) – Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-01) today thanked the City of Charleston Police Department and U.S. Capitol Police for providing her federal office in Charleston with a full-time security detail following the Charleston Airport incident.
Our team donated $1,500 worth of food and baby formula, 84 pounds in total, while volunteering at the Lowcountry Food Bank this week.
