(Charleston, S.C., May 29, 2025) — Today, a brave survivor of rape and sexual exploitation filed a civil class action lawsuit against three men mentioned in Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s February 10th floor speech: Eric Bowman, Patrick Bryant, and John Osborne.
According to Congresswoman Mace, the victim, after being incapacitated, was sexually assaulted and the assault was filmed. The video was saved and stored for more than five years after.
All of this happened without the victim’s knowledge.

(Charleston, S.C., May 16, 2025)– Congresswoman Nancy Mace will travel to Greenville, South Carolina to attend the bond hearing for Samuel Theodore Cain, a self-identified transgender individual arrested yesterday by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). Cain, who goes by the name “Roxie,” was taken into custody for publicly threatening to assassinate Congresswoman Mace on social media.
On April 26, Cain posted the following threat on X:

(Charleston, S.C., May 15, 2025) - Congresswoman Nancy Mace today announced Samuel Theodore Cain, a self identified trans person, has been arrested for threatening to murder Congresswoman Mace. Cain, from the Greenville, South Carolina area goes by “Roxie.”
On April 26th, Cain posted publicly on X: “I’M GOING TO ASSASSINATE REPRESENTATIVE NANCY MACE WITH A GUN AND I’M BEING 100% DEAD ASS.”

(Washington, D.C., May 15, 2025) - Congresswoman Nancy Mace introduced the Supporting Equal Access to Tables (SEAT) Act to defend Lowcountry restaurants and small businesses from unauthorized third-party reservation services. These services, often powered by bots, list and resell bookings without restaurant approval, misleading customers and stealing revenue from independent restaurant owners.
