(Washington, D.C., June 17th 2024) – Title IX was originally enacted in 1972 to prevent sex-based discrimination and sexual harassment in educational programs and activities funded by the federal government. However, the Biden administration recently called to expand Title IX calling for mandatory gender identity protections.

Washington, D.C. (June 14th, 2024) – Today, Congresswoman Nancy Mace announced the successful passage of an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), aimed at prohibiting the use of Department of Defense funds for constructing or maintaining a pier off the coast of Gaza. This amendment ensures that taxpayer dollars are utilized in ways that directly bolster U.S. national security and military readiness, and not wasted overseas.

A House Oversight and Accountability subcommittee is aiming to give a star-studded boost to the conversation surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) and deepfakes, extending an invitation to actor Scarlett Johansson to testify at an upcoming hearing. 

The “Black Widow” star has been invited to testify at a House Oversight Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology and Government Innovation hearing on July 9.
