More on Lowcountry
As winter weather moves into South Carolina, our office wants to ensure you have access to essential updates and resources to stay safe. Please be aware of the following information and take necessary precautions:

(Washington, D.C., January 20th, 2024) – Congresswoman Mace’s statement after Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States:
“Donald Trump called today 'Liberation Day,' and it’s true—Americans are finally free from the far-left and the establishment’s chokehold on our nation.
(Washington, D.C., January 17th, 2024) – Representative Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) has been reappointed as the Chair of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation for the 119th Congress.
Human Trafficking is a multi-billion-dollar criminal industry denying freedom to 24.9 million people worldwide. This crime affects every community, including here in South Carolina. It robs individuals of their freedom, dignity, and safety. In recent years, South Carolina, like many other states, has seen a spike in human trafficking. It often goes unnoticed, but it still happens all around us. This is why it is so important for us to work together as a community to combat human trafficking and create a safer South Carolina for all.
“So many businesses—from tech to manufacturing—are choosing to grow right here in the Lowcountry. Bringing in $1.28 billion in investments and creating over 1,000 jobs in just one year. This kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident, and it is thanks to our hardworking local leaders, innovative businesses, and the talented workforce making Charleston County such an attractive place to work, live and explore.”
What a beautiful sunset this past weekend in Hilton Head Island at the Heritage Classic Foundation Congressional Cup!
“This sickening act of cruelty against innocent animals is absolutely unacceptable and must be met with the strongest possible consequences under the law. We thank the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office for their work to bring these perpetrators to justice. Violence like this against our pets has no place in South Carolina. We've always sent a clear message: animal cruelty will not be tolerated. Not now, not ever.”
