WASHINGTON, D.C. - Yesterday, the Committee on Oversight and Accountability marked up the MACE Act, a bipartisan bill aimed at modernizing federal cybersecurity job requirements to foster a more diverse and competitive workforce. The bill was introduced by Rep. Mace (SC-01) and is co-led by Rep. Katie Porter (CA-47).

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina), U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-New York), and Senator Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) introduced the bipartisan Protecting Older Americans Act. The legislation would invalidate forced arbitration clauses which prevent age discrimination victims from seeking justice and public accountability. 

Bill to “Rein In” Wasteful Taxpayer Spending

Artwork to be hung in the U.S. Capitol Building on behalf of SC-01

 WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-01) announced the winners of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition for South Carolina’s 1st District. 

Alondra Colula of Hilton Head Island High School had her piece titled  “Max and Toby” chosen as the winner of the prestigious competition.

Legislation comes during Gun Violence Awareness Month and in response to record levels of gun violence in schools

Washington, D.C. - Yesterday, the Iranian Women Caucus and the Iran Human Rights and Democracy Caucus held their first assembly in support of Iran’s uprising led by women and the human rights of the Iranian people. Rep. Mace, the co-chair of the Iranian Women Congressional Caucus, introduced witness Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran. Rep.  Washington, D.C. - Representative Nancy Mace (SC-01) along with Representatives Lou Correa (CA-46) and Jack Bergman (MI-01) recently introduced H.R. 1822, the PLUS for Veterans Act of 2023, bipartisan legislation that will safeguard Veterans from fraud, abuse, and bad actors who seek to take advantage of them when they seek VA disability benefits. The bill will also protect Veterans’ right to seek private assistance when seeking benefits if they so choose.
