(Washington, D.C., August 1, 2025) — Today, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-01) introduced the Transgender Research on Animals Now Stops and Money for Ideological Cruelty Eliminated Act, also known as the TRANS MICE Act, to put an end to the use of taxpayer dollars for radical transgender-related experiments on animals.
Rep. Mace has led the charge in exposing the reckless waste of taxpayer dollars on these experiments and is fighting to shut them down for good.

(Charleston, S.C., July 29, 2025) — Today, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-01) announced the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs has formally authorized $30,464,000 in funding for the construction of a Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Beaufort County, South Carolina.
The funding will support a new outpatient facility aimed at improving access to medical services, counseling, and VA programs for the recorded 16,881 veterans who call Beaufort County home.
Our office received a letter from Dorchester County recognizing our support in securing over $24 million in federal funding for local transportation and infrastructure projects.
This USDOT grant will not only upgrade roads and improve safety, it will also strengthen the region’s ability to attract and retain businesses, create good-paying jobs, and support long-term economic growth across Dorchester County.

(Washington, D.C., July 28, 2025) — As part of her fight to end government-funded animal cruelty, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) has reintroduced the Preventing Animal Abuse and Waste (PAAW) Act, a bill prohibiting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) from conducting or funding research causing significant pain or distress to dogs and cats.
