Women & Victim's Rights
In our ongoing efforts to champion women and victims' rights, our office has introduced numerous pieces of legislation this year alone. From combatting cybercrimes and human trafficking, to addressing violence perpetrated against women by illegal aliens, we're dedicated to enhancing accountability and imposing stricter penalties on perpetrators of violence against women.
More on Women & Victim's Rights
(WASHINGTON, D.C., November 20th, 2024) – Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has made it clear: he stands with women and girls, not with the radical Left's dangerous push to erase their rights. Today, Speaker Johnson voiced his full support for Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s bill to ban non-biological men from using women’s bathrooms and locker rooms at the U.S. Capitol.
Jose Ibarra, a criminal illegal alien from Venezuela, brutally murdered Laken Riley in a horrific attack no one should ever have to endure. He dragged her into a secluded area, beat her with a rock, and left her to die. He has been rightfully convicted on all charges. This guilty verdict brings some justice, but Congress must do more to secure our borders and protect American citizens. Pass H.R. 7909!
(WASHINGTON, D.C., November 19th, 2024) – After receiving overwhelming support from the American people and enduring the predictable performative outrage from the radical Left, Congresswoman Nancy Mace is taking further action to protect women. Today, she announced another new bill, the Protecting Women's Private Spaces Act, to ban biological men from using women’s private, protected facilities—such as bathrooms and locker rooms—on all federal property.
(Washington, D.C., November 18th, 2024) – Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) announced today she is introducing a resolution to ban transgender women from using biological women’s restrooms at the U.S. Capitol. This measure reflects Mace’s ongoing commitment to protecting women’s rights and pushing back against policies which erase the unique needs and identities of biological women.
As a mom and a survivor of rape, I cannot imagine the anguish Laken Riley's family endures as they face the trial of her killers. Laken’s tragic death serves as a painful reminder of the dangers violent offenders pose when allowed to remain in our communities.
(Washington D.C., November 4th, 2024) -- Congresswoman Nancy Mace has introduced the Rape Shield Enhancement Act of 2024 to protect victims from unfair judgment or blame in assault cases. This bill instructs the Judicial Conference to review and suggest updates to federal rules, ensuring victims' personal details, when irrelevant to the case, remain protected in court.

We need to protect our women and children.
